Thirteen: Inferno, Decapitation, Vox Liberatis, Reliquary, Fall of Atreus, Ballistic Engine, Termination, Obelisk, Exfiltration, Vortex, Reclamation, Disruption, and Purgation. Patch 15 did not add another operation.
It depends on the mission. Each prep sheet names a fan suggestion. Those are not a ranked tier list, and Crucible penances are not listed here.
